Terinex Flexibles sees the wood for the trees with successful FSC audit

Starting a new role is exciting, but it can be daunting when one of your first jobs is an important audit. That’s exactly what happened to our newest team member, Anna Szeleszczyk-Balicka, who joined us in January.

In her new role as Quality & Compliance Manager, Anna is responsible for internal and external audits, customer visits, creating procedures and policies, delivering training and continuing to improve the company’s standards. Anna also ensures all standards are being met to comply to BRC, FSC, company standard and current legislations.

In conforming with FSC standards, certificate holders ensure that their forest sector products are sustainably and responsibly sourced and managed. The FSC audit is particularly detailed as it looks at a company’s supply chain to ensure that it complies with the FSC (Forest Stewardship Council) certification requirements but Anna wasted no time getting to work. She worked closely with our different teams to ensure all of our suppliers were FSC compliant and that all documentation was up to date.

And we’re delighted to say that we passed! Anna says: “One of my first successes at Terinex Flexibles was passing our FSC audit with zero non-conformances, and I am proud to have achieved this within my first few months at the company.”
